Foo Fighters, Beck, Coldplay's Chris Martin and others will honor the late Prince with an all-star tribute concert in conjunction with the Grammy Awards. Let’s Go Crazy: The Grammy Salute To Prince will be held at the Los Angeles Convention Center on January 28th, two days after the Grammys, and it’ll be broadcast in April.
Other artists who will perform include St. Vincent, Usher, Alicia Keys, Mavis Staples, H.E.R., Earth, Wind & Fire, Gary Clark, Jr. and Juanes, while longtime Prince collaborator Sheila E. and her band will be supporting the acts throughout the night. Other artists tied to Prince, like his old band The Revolution, will also appear.
Longtime Grammys producer Ken Ehrlich says that the show will cover different eras of Prince’s musical career and have biographical segments interspersed between the musical performances.
Prince, who earned numerous awards and accolades during his career, died at age 57 in April 2016 of an accidental opioid overdose at his Paisley Park estate in Minnesota.
