Radiohead has created a new way for fans to keep up with the band’s history with the launch of the Radiohead Public Library. Fans can now access a curated and organized archive of the band’s catalogue, artifacts associated with each album, detailed artwork, official videos, and ad-free HD live and TV performances and much more. Online library visitors can even create their own library card and membership number.
Starting this week, band members, Colin and Jonny Greenwood, Ed O’Brien, Philip Selway, and Thom Yorke are each taking turns serving as librarian for a day. Each are presenting a curated selection of archival material across the band’s social media channels.
The idea came about when the band realized that internet search results yielded only random and abbreviated information and low quality videos.
