Matt Stell performed a pop-up show at Dierks Bentley‘s Whiskey Row Nashville on Monday (Feb. 3rd) night in celebration of the recent launch of his Give A Damn Foundation. He performed a 13-song set during which attendees made donations in tip buckets totaling over $1320 which will go directly to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
Matt said, “A wise man once told me, that the only thing you have to do to make the world a better place is to just give a damn, and that always meant something to me. And that’s why I called our new cause the Give A Damn Foundation . . . Because the bottom line is, if you give a damn and I give a damn, we’re going to make this world a better place and have a lot of fun doing it.”
Additional charities Matt has earmarked to help through his Give A Damn Foundation include Doctors Without Borders and the Humane Society.
Limited edition Give A Damn wristbands are now available under the merch tab on Matt's website and 100% of all the proceeds from wristband purchases will go to Give A Damn Foundation.
