Slipknot is bringing back its Knotfest Roadshow tour for a second year after the success of 2019's inaugural run. This summer's Roadshow begins in Syracuse, New York on May 30th and hits a further 15 cities before wrapping at The Woodlands, Texas on June 25th. Special guests on most of the shows will be A Day To Remember, Underoath and Code Orange.
Knotfest Roadshow is an offshoot of the original Knotfest, a destination festival featuring dozens of bands that Slipknot launched in 2012. Whether it's one massive event or a smaller touring showcase, singer Corey Taylor told us not long ago that Slipknot is focused on making Knotfest a unique experience: “When we put our name on something, it's gonna be quality. You know, we don't just put our name on anything. We go above and beyond to really make sure that whatever we put our name on, we back it 110 percent. And something like this that, you know, we're basically branding our own festival, we want to make sure that it is as top to bottom different than anything else that you'd see out there.”
Tickets for Knotfest Roadshow 2020 go on sale at 10:00 a.m. local time on Friday, February 7th from KnotfestRoadshow.com.
