In a new episode of Queen Radio, Nicki Minaj opened up about recently losing 13 lbs. She said that the secret is that she “channeled all of my power and now I have control of it. I control how it manifests in my life.” She continued, “For example, I was trying to do this diet and I kept putting it off. I didn't think I could have the discipline in what I ate. Once my mind was committed to it, my body committed to it.”
She added that she is still about “20 pounds away from my goal weight.”
Nicki also revealed that 2020 is off to a great start, saying “This has been one of my favorite years so far, I realized I unlocked the lock. I realized that success starts inside you, it doesn't start with success. Success doesn't start with success, meaning I don't have to be the number one female rapper. I have to know I can be the number one female rapper.”
She also opened up about her sex life with husband Kenneth “Zoo” Petty, saying, “he's naturally dominant, I just like his style. He brings out the ratchet in me.”
50 CENT REVEALS WHY HE DIDN'T SIGN NICKI
Meanwhile, 50 Cent stopped by Queen Radio yesterday (February 10th) and Nicki said that 50 is one of the few people in the music industry that has always had her back. When she asked him why he never signed her to G-Unit back when she was looking for a record deal, he said it was because of her former manager Fendi.
He explained, “That's the only reason why I wasn't saying nothing or checking real hard for her (Nicki) because he was over there.” He added, “Now he's is a little seasoned. He knows how to keep the relationship the right way. Back then, he was being Fendi.”
During the episode, Nick also revealed why she never collaborated with Kendrick Lamar. She jokingly said, “The reason why I haven’t collaborated with Kendrick Lamar yet is because he don’t want to get washed.” She added, “I’m a big fan of him and his talent and I’m looking forward to collaborating with him one day hopefully because he’s animated and I like the animation. And also, he just respects the craft of rap and at this time right now…” Kendrick responded on Twitter, saying, “I love it Nicki Minaj. 😍👑🤕.”
Other guests on Nicki's Queen Radio included Karol G, Meghan Trainor and Maliibu Miitch.
