The Strokes have released a new single called “Bad Decisions” as well as an accompanying music video. It’s the second track the band has shared off their upcoming album, The New Abnormal, which comes out April 10th.
The song follows the album's first single and video, “At The Door,” which made its premiere last week. “Bad Decisions” also made its concert debut earlier this month at a rally for presidential candidate Bernie Sanders.
In the song’s video, the Strokes can be seen playing their instruments in an older woman’s living room. It appears to be the late ’60s and the band sports new outfits and hairdos to fit the era. The woman can also press a button that makes life-sized dolls resembling members of the Strokes appear, and things eventually get even weirder.
The New Abnormal is the long-awaited follow-up to 2013’s Comedown Machine, the New York City group's last full-length LP. They released a four-song EP called Future Present Past in 2016. To support the new set, the Strokes will make a number of festival appearances, in addition to a brief run of West Coast arena shows in March.
