In a new interview with Rolling Stone, Megan Thee Stallion admitted that the constant rumors about her dating life bothers her. The rapper has been linked to Trey Songz and G-Eazy. She said, “These are my immediate girlfriends, and we all have a lot of guy friends. But now, it's just a public thing. People think that if I'm hanging out with anybody, it got to be, 'Oh, they're having sex.' Why can't I just be turnt up with my friend tonight? They're just doing this sh*t because they want some attention, and I cannot feed into it.”
Megan added that she suffers with anxiety due to grieving the loss of her mother and great-grandmother so it only makes the constant rumors worse. She explained, “Then I have to get on the internet and see these motherf*ckers talking about me? That sh*t really be pissing me off sometimes.”
Meanwhile, Megan said that she is determined to finish her degree and it is all because of her grandmother. She explained, “My grandmother would be very pissed off at me if I just stopped college right now. My mother would've been like, 'It don't matter.' I got to get this degree.” Megan said that she wants to put her degree to good use by opening up assisted-living facilities.
MEGAN REVEALS THE RELEASE DATE FOR 'SUGA'
In other news, Megan revealed that her debut album “Suga” will hopefully be released on May 2nd, which was her mother's birthday. Megan told the magazine that “Suga” her newest persona is “more sweet,” “a little more vulnerable” and also “a f*cking mess.”
She explained, “When I started making music, I was making music that I liked,” she says. “I’m making ratchet sh*t, turn up sh*t. I’m doing me. I wasn’t thinking about anybody else in my music. I wasn’t thinking about kids, and I’m not thinking about other races. I wasn’t thinking about anybody but me and my brand, but when I go and I see these other artists, and when I go to some of my friend’s shows, and I’m looking at who’s in the crowd, and I’m looking at even my god-sister, they’re six, seven, eight, and they’re singing my songs. I’m like, ‘Okay. Let me give y’all something a little deeper, because I definitely want to grow with my music. I want to grow up with my music.”
