Garth Brooks is now the first artist to achieve Top Five singles at Country Radio (across Billboard and Mediabase charts) over five consecutive decades in the 80’s, 90’s, 00’s, 10’s and now 20’s, with his current single “Dive Bar” with Blake Shelton reaching Number Five on Mediabase this week. Garth first topped the charts with “If Tomorrow Never Comes” on Billboard‘s Hot Country Songs chart in 1989 and he has now reached the Top Five in every decade since. Garth will be honored with the ICON Award at the 2020 Billboard Music Awards in Las Vegas on Wednesday, April 29th airing at 8 p.m. ET/PT on NBC.
Riley Green has earned RIAA Gold certification for his latest single, “I Wish Grandpas Never Died,” which is currently approaching the Top 10 at Country Radio. The single follows his Gold certified No. 1 “There Was This Girl” which are both featured on his debut album, Different 'Round Here.
