DaBaby has officially been sued by Tyronesha Laws –– the woman who has claimed that he slapped her at a concert last week. According to TMZ, Laws filed the suit on Friday (March 13th), claiming that while she was at the rapper's concert last weekend in Tampa, he “suddenly and without any warning,” struck her in the face.
Laws said that the rapper has expressed no remorse for the slap and even mad fun of the situation on social media after posting a skit featuring comedian Michael Blackson.
Laws' attorneys Matt Morgan and Chelsea Cromer of Morgan and Morgan said that the incident was “outrageous and shocking.” They added, “Our goal is to deter similar conduct in the future and send a message that this type of behavior is not tolerated in America.”
Laws previously told TMZ that she was not the person who put a phone right in DaBaby's face, but she was standing right next to the person. Meanwhile, DaBaby's attorney told the site that the woman is not the person his client slapped and that several people have come forward claiming to be the victim.
Laws is suing battery, intentional infliction of emotional distress and other damages.
