Taylor Swift’s March Madness concert has been canceled due to coronavirus concerns.
Swift was set to headline Capital One’s JamFest on April 5th in Atlanta during the 2020 NCAA March Madness Music Festival. Capital One JamFest had been set to take place on the final day of March Madness Music Festival, a three-day free music series originally scheduled to kick off on April 3rd at Atlanta’s Centennial Olympic Park. Halsey and Tayla Parx were previously announced as part of the lineup with Swift headlining the show.
The news comes after the NCAA announced that it has canceled its Division I men’s and women’s 2020 basketball tournament.
The event would have been Taylor’s only scheduled concert in America besides her Lover Fest tour dates. She will still perform at Glastonbury in June. Swift’s West Coast Lover Fest shows are scheduled to take place on July 25th and 26th at Los Angeles’ new SoFi Stadium, while the East Coast dates are set for July 31st and August 1st at Gillette Stadium in Foxborough, Massachusetts.
