With two busy schedules as entertainers, Carly Pearce and Michael Ray have to really coordinate their schedules early on in the year in order to spend the most time together possible. They, like other couples in music, have the two-week rule, where that's the longest they'll go without seeing each other.
Carly tells us: [“At the beginning of the year, we pick a week to block and then our people do understand – we have the same management team so that helps to be able to see. We really don’t like to go more than two weeks apart. We feel like that’s when my claws start coming out. Just as women, I feel like we need our man, even if it’s for a few hours."] SOUNDCUE (:18 OC: . . . a few hours.)
Concerns over the coronavirus have allowed Carly and Michael a lot more time at home together these days. Based on Carly's social media, they’ve been enjoying binging lots of shows on Netflix and Hulu, lots of Halo Top ice cream, and even managed to sneak in a date night at the fairly empty Nashville Palace.
Carly is inching toward the top of the charts with her latest single, "I Hope You're Happy Now," featuring Lee Brice.
