Kelsea Ballerin's new album, simply titled Kelsea, is available at all retailers today (Friday, March 20th). The 13-song collection features two collaborations — one with pop star Halsey and one with Kenny Chesney — in addition to her latest hit single, “homecoming queen?.”
Kelsea tells us the album's title came from the conclusion that all the songs are about her. “The album kind of named itself, to be honest. I didn't really have a theme like I did with my last album. I just wrote for two years and when I was sifting through my favorite songs it kind of seemed like it was a very self-aware, self discovery period of my life, which is why I named it Kelsea cause it kind of felt like the thing that if you listened to the 13 songs we'd be on a first-name basis after that.”
Kelsea is the singer's third studio album. She is expected to announce a tour in support of the project soon.
