Twenty One Pilots' massive 2015 album Blurryface has now surpassed four billion streams on Spotify alone, not even including streams on YouTube or other outlets.
Chart Data, the company who tweeted the news, stated that the LP “remains the most streamed album by a group of all time.”
The record had tens of millions of monthly listeners as of last summer, with the hit “Stressed Out” streamed more than a billion times itself.
The duo's fifth album, Trench, came out in 2018 and was also a tremendous hit, if not quite as pervasive as Blurryface.
Asked recently whether they had started work on their next LP, singer Tyler Joseph said, “I’m always working on songs. What I’m doing right now is really just collecting a lot of ideas and a lot of sounds.”
