Radiohead has announced that the band will being streaming live shows on its official YouTube channel during the weeks ahead. The first show, recorded in Dublin, Ireland in October 2000, will stream on Thursday (April 9th) at 5:00 p.m. ET.
Announcing the series in an Instagram post, the band wrote, “Now that you have no choice whether or not you fancy a quiet night in, may we draw your attention to these entertainments? We will be releasing one a week until either the restrictions resulting from current situation are eased, or we run out of shows. Which will be first? No-one knows.”
Fans can also check out the recently launched Radiohead Public Library, a digital archive full of rarities, playlists, unseen concert footage and more.
Radiohead guitarist Ed O’Brien revealed last month that he believed he had contracted the coronavirus, although his symptoms were relatively mild and he said he was on the mend after 10 days.
