Guns N’ Roses singer Axl Rose has been outspoken in the past about politicians And over the weekend, he blasted Kentucky Senator Rand Paul for criticizing the measures the state is putting in place to prevent the spread of COVID-19.
Here’s what happened… Governor Andy Beshear warned Kentuckians that they would be forced to self-quarantine for 14 days if they attended in-person Easter church services due to the risk of the spread of the coronavirus. In response, Senator Rand Paul posted this comment: “Taking license plates at church? Quarantining someone for being Christian on Easter Sunday? Someone needs to take a step back here.”
In response, Axl Rose fired back… “Step bk? As usual Rand Paul needs to step off.” This was the first time Axl Rose had posted online since February.
Senator Paul was diagnosed with COVID-19 a few weeks ago and was critized by other senators when they had to go into quarantine because he had not told them he had been tested.
