Five Finger Death Punch singer Ivan Moody's company, Moody's Medicinals, will donate thousands of its new CBD hand sanitizers to various veteran-led and veteran-serving charities across the country.
In addition to the non-profit giveaways, all Moody's Medicinals customers will receive a Moody's Medicinals CBD hand sanitizer for free with every new purchase of the new Moody's Soothies lozenges.
All previous Moody's Medicinals customers who have purchased products via its website will also receive a free CBD hand sanitizer spray. The sanitizers contain the CDC-recommended 70 percent alcohol ingredient for sanitization and no THC.
Moody said, “Many people are experiencing the uncertainty of this moment, and none more so than our veterans. Over 10 percent of our veterans have PTSD in a given year. We have to make sure we are keeping our veterans in mind during this difficult time.”
Moody told us why he started Moody's Medicinals, which markets both CBD and non-CBD wellness products: “I don't like to use a lot of medications, so CBD has always worked, as well as THC — I've always used it. And I'm watching everybody cash in on these CBD lines and these THC products and everything else, so I was like, 'Well, I'm gonna be productive and do something that I know that other people can actually get something out of, without just putting my name on it.'”
The singer has said in interviews that products containing the cannabis-derived chemical compound known as CBD, or cannabidiol, have helped him with his recovery from alcoholism.
