Pearl Jam's Eddie Vedder and Green Day's Billie Joe Armstrong were among the many musical acts that performed Saturday night (April 18th) on Global Citizen's One World: Together At Home benefit.
The show, which reportedly raised more than $127 million to battle the coronavirus pandemic and aid healthcare workers, aired across multiple TV networks as well as a variety of social media platforms.
Vedder performed “River Cross,” the closing cut from Pearl Jam's new Gigaton LP, while Armstrong played “Wake Me Up When September Ends.” Other rock acts that appeared included Billie Eilish and her brother Finneas, Sir Paul McCartney and the Rolling Stones.
The event, curated by Lady Gaga, was hosted by Jimmy Fallon, Jimmy Kimmel and Stephen Colbert. It also featured appearances — all recorded at home — from Gaga, Taylor Swift, Lizzo, Elton John, Shawn Mendes, Camila Cabello, Jennifer Lopez and many more.
