Blake Shelton is pitching in to help those in his homestate struggling with getting food these days. He pledged $150,000 to the Regional Food Bank of Oklahoma during the ABC affiliate's virtual fundraiser for the cause. Blake spoke of his donation in a video shared by the news station where he said in part, “A lot of Oklahomans are going to bed hungry tonight. That’s not something that I can live with . . . I hope you will join me and help from home. Send in that donation because a lot of people out there are counting on us.”
Blake and his girlfriend, Gwen Stefani, have been sheltering in place in Oklahoma for the past month.
The couple currently sit at Number Two on the Mediabase chart with their duet, “Nobody But You.”
