Jon Pardi is featured on a new episode of CMT’s On the Road digital series. The series is temporarily titled Off the Road since Jon and his fellow artists aren’t touring and performing shows. Jon was sent a couple of small cameras and iphones to shoot the docu-style show, which shows him working his 40-acre farm outside of Nashville, performing socially distanced with his band, getting a haircut from his bride-to-be, Summer, going shopping and more.
Tim McGraw will be releasing a new single called “I Called Mama,” on May 8th. In a text message to fans yesterday (Thursday, April 30th), Tim wrote, “Now more than ever, I’ve been reminded of the importance of human connection in our lives. 'I Called Mama' is a song about connecting back to what grounds us when life shakes us up. We should all call Mama more often . . . or whoever those people in our lives are that keep us connected to what really matters. This song really hits home for me, and I hope it does for you, too.”
The Highwomen have released a video for a song called “Crowded Table.” The clip was filmed throughout the making of their self-titled debut album, and features appearances by founding members Brandi Carlile, Natalie Hemby, Maren Morris and Amanda Shires, along with Sheryl Crow, Jason Isbell, Yola, Tim and Phil Hanseroth and more.
