Muse frontman Matt Bellamy has posted a snippet of an upcoming song called “Tomorrow’s World.” The short teaser was accompanied by an image of a person in a spacesuit. Bellamy hasn’t clarified if it’s a Muse song or solo material, simply writing, “New track I made during lockdown, out very soon.”
Drummer Dominic Howard told us a while back that the band doesn't always know when it's done with a piece of music: “Finishing songs is actually the hardest thing to do. We know when something's done when we're, you know, all three of us are like totally on the same page. You know, we can all be on the same page and then someone kind of loses it or has different ideas, or someone says, 'Oh, I'm not sure about this,' and then something just balances out between the three of us and we're like, 'Yes, that's done.' And I think that's the point where we kind of stamp it and go, 'Cool, that's finished.'”
Muse's last album, Simulation Theory, came out in November 2018. The band preceded its arrival with a steady of songs from the LP as well as footage from the studio.
Last month, Muse released four songs from the encore of the band's legendary Tokyo Zepp concert on August 13th, 2013. A special one-off show staged in the relatively small venue Zepp, the set featured a number of rare cuts as well the live premieres of several songs.
