Billie Eilish and her family have been granted a restraining order against a 24-year-old man named Prenell Rousseau. The man reportedly visited her house and attempted to gain entry seven times in the past week, starting on May 4th. He was taken into custody twice.
Eilish obtained the order on Monday (May 11th), with Rousseau forbidden from coming within 200 yards of Eilish or her family.
Rousseau allegedly tried to gain access to their home, rang the doorbell, spoke to Eilish's father and security guards, and even took a nap by an outer wall. He also did not practice coronavirus-appropriate physical distancing, nor did he wear protective gear properly while speaking to staff.
Eilish said in her request to the judge, “While we waited for security, Mr. Rousseau remained on our porch, sat down and began to read a book, while also continuing to engage in a periodic monologue. My father repeatedly asked him to leave, but he refused.”
A follow-up hearing regarding the matter is scheduled for June 1st.
