Blink-182 has completed a new track called “Quarantine” that is set to arrive sometime in the next two weeks.
Drummer Travis Barker revealed the existence of the track while reeling off a list of other projects he's been working on, including music from Post Malone, Machine Gun Kelly, Yungblud and more. He said that the band was “really excited about it.”
In an interview with Spin, Barker said he was on the way to Salt Lake City to collaborate with Post Malone, for whom he played drums on the latter's online Nirvana tribute concert.
Barker said, “I’m going up to Salt Lake to just write for a week with him. Just jam and have fun . . . the whole vibe over there has been very relaxed and just whatever happens happens.”
Blink bassist Mark Hoppus also recently confirmed he was working on music for the trio's ninth studio LP. The band's most recent full-length album, strangely titled Nine, came out last September.
