Guess Who co-founders Randy Bachman and Burton Cummings have announced the first rescheduled dates of their reunion tour. The Canadian legends had rolled out their 24-date "Together Again, Live in Concert" summer run, marking the pair's first joint trek in over a decade — before postponing the shows due to coronavius.
As it stands now, the duo has posted their first rescheduled stops set for June 2021 in Huber Heights, Ohio; Tama, Iowa; St. Charles, Missouri; Rosemont, Illinois; and Prior Lake, Minnesota. Additional dates will be announced soon.
The tour will celebrate the music of the Guess Who, Bachman-Turner Overdrive, and Burton Cummings, featuring such legendary hits as "These Eyes," "Laughing," "Undun," "No Time," "American Woman," "No Sugar Tonight," "Share The Land," "Stand Tall," "Let It Ride," "Takin’ Care Of Business," "You Ain’t Seen Nothing Yet," and many more.
We caught up with Randy Bachman, and asked him what made him and teenage buddy Burton Cummings decide to take the show on the road once again: ["Does the word 'inevitable' mean (laughs) anything? We've been fortunate, every, I don't know, every five, six years to get an offer to comeback together and the timing seems right for both of us. And, as time goes by, I find — to me, and probably Burton, and all the fans — the songs still are relevant to about four, or, five decades — y'know from teenage kids to up until people in their 70's and 80's."] SOUNDCUE (:21 OC: . . . 70's and 80's)
