Bad Wolves reached Number One on the rock radio chart this week with “Sober,” the current single from the band's N.A.T.I.O.N. album. The first single from the LP, “Killing Me Softly,” also hit the top of the chart, as did “Remember When” and the band's cover of the Cranberries' “Zombie” from its first album Disobey.
Out of the five singles the band has released so far from its two studio albums, every one of them has hit the top of the rock radio survey, including “Hear Me Now” which was also found on Disobey.
Singer Tommy Vext, who's in recovery himself, said about “Sober,” “This song was a unique opportunity to talk about addiction not only from the perspective of the addict but also from the perspective of their loved ones.”
Bad Wolves sparked controversy last week over some posts by Vext regarding Black Lives Matter and racism.
