Alternative act Cold War Kids have shared an 11-minute tour documentary that follows the band through their winter tour from just a few months ago. The film provides an intimate look at the band’s daily life while touring, including backstage, offstage, during the shows and behind the scenes.
Singer Nathan Willett said, “This was tour life — right before COVID wiped it away.” The film also gives Cold War Kids fans a taste of some new music as they await the release of the second and third chapters in the band's trilogy of albums titled New Age Norms.
Additionally, the band has been performing occasional concerts via livestream with the next one scheduled to be a performance on Spin‘s Untitled Twitch Stream this Saturday (June 20th) at 7:00 p.m. ET.
Cold War Kids are based in Long Beach, California and have issued seven studio albums as well as 11 EPs. Their singles include “First” and “Love Is Mystical,” which went to Number One and Two respectively on the Alternative radio chart.
