Gabby Barrett is celebrating her brand new album, Goldmine, this week with two fan-facing digital experiences. She collaborated with adventure and tour company Let’s Roam on their first-ever music experience, and lending support and awareness to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, Gabby has created a free and original series of indoor scavenger hunts.
The quests will include trivia questions, photo and video challenges, watching/listening to new songs on the album, and tasks to share on social media spanning Gabby’s journey to being a rising country star, the making of Goldmine and more. All participants need is a mobile phone and the Let’s Roam app to be guided through the first introduction to the album. Fans will earn one entry into the contest for each completed daily scavenger hunt (up to 5 entries) for a chance to win a Zoom call with Gabby.
Gabby's Goldmine album was released on Friday (June 19th) and includes the chart-topping hit “I Hope.” She tells us there's a story behind the project's glittery title. “I named the album Goldmine because when I would think back to people that worked in goldmines it was notoriously known to be very hard work, and over the past two years of writing I really feel like I have dug for these songs, and with these 13 tracks that we've narrowed it down to I feel like I struck my own little goldmine.”
Today (Tuesday, June 23rd), Gabby will perform select album cuts and fan favorite tracks with a full band for Live From The Goldmine at 7 p.m. ET on her YouTube channel, Facebook and Twitter.
