Cardi B has slammed allegations that she is homophobic and transphobic. The rapper, who has been in relationships with women in the past, responded to a social media user, saying, “How the fuvk am i homophobic or transphobic? have you been to a carribean island where you really see homophobia! Have you dealt with a parent that can’t accept you for your sexuality? i said some ignorant things b4 that apologized for & educated myself.”
She continued, “Ya keep using that same 1 video that I apologize for over & over again to call me homophobic & transphobic 1 but never post about the ones where I support the LGBT community which are multiples and the multiple tweets I posted in support. And I don’t support the LGBT community because I have “gay fans” I support because of the confused feelings I had growing up on is it normal to like girls? I support because I know how hard it was for my gay cousin to come out to his very strict Dominican family.”
CARDI B ACCUSED OF PLAGIARISM
In other news, Cardi has been accused of plagiarizing some lyrics for her verses on Offset’s song “Clout” and Blueface‘s remix to “Thotiana.” Cardi went back and forth with a rapper named Dela Wesst in Twitter. Although Dela claims Cardi stole her lyrics, Cardi claiemd that she wrote her lyrics first.
Dela responded, “Starting a record in January does not mean you finished that record in January. I clearly wrote this the day before you debuted it the internet. I didn’t hear the section of the song THAT EVERYONE IS TALKING ABOUT. I am also not hearing by any ‘CLOUTS’ in the verse.”
Cardi responded, “jUsT cAUsE yOu sTArTED the song iN jAnUARy don’t mean you finished it THEN WTF IS THIS THEN B***H!”
After going back and forth with Dela, Cardi wrote, “I’m getting off the internet for a couple days see ya when I see yaaa.”
