The Deftones have officially rescheduled their North American summer tour. They will hit the road next year, starting off with a show in Minneapolis, MN on August 12th 2021 and concluding on September 22nd in Portland, OR.
The band confirmed on Facebook that they will be accompanied by Gojira and Poppy as originally planned.
The post also gave details on how to request a refund if you currently have tickets for the original 2020 dates that were cancelled because of the coronavirus. They wrote, “If you bought tickets for one of the 2020 shows and cannot make the rescheduled show, you will receive an email directly allowing you to request a refund. For more details, please visit livenation.com/refund. Please hold on to your tickets, as they will be honored for the 2021 dates. Thank you for your patience and understanding.”
The 2020 tour was intended to support a new album, slated to arrive this summer. Consequence Of Sound reports that the LP is still set to debut this year.
