MEGHAN TRAINOR TO RELEASE NEW MUSIC: Meghan Trainor has unveiled the title of her upcoming single, due out today. Trainor not only revealed the title of the song, “Make You Dance,” but also the track’s official artwork. Trainor also announced that she will be releasing a deluxe edition of her latest album, Treat Myself, next Friday. Taking to Twitter, Meghan said: “Been workin on this surprise for some time now. I’m releasing a deluxe version of Treat Myself next Friday! Can’t wait for you to hear the new songs.”
NIALL HORAN HAS NEW GIRLFRIEND: Niall Horan, 26, has reportedly been dating shoe buyer Amelia Woolley for the last two months and being in quarantine due to the coronavirus pandemic means things have got serious between them very quickly. A source said: “Niall is very serious about Amelia, lockdown has definitely intensified his feelings for her. “He thinks Amelia’s gorgeous but they also really get on – and she’s told close friends this could be the real deal.” The two reportedly met in London “as Amelia works for shoe designer Nicholas Kirkwood and moved to Kensington for her job.” Amelia, 23, recently shared a black and white photo of her and Niall on her Snapchat account, which was accompanied by a heart emoji and the caption “Sunday’s vibe.”
MARIAH CAREY TO RELEASE MEMOIR IN SEPTEMBER: Mariah Carey officially announced her memoir, titled The Meaning of Mariah Carey, will be released on September 29th. The singer made the announcement on Twitter alongside the book’s cover. Carey wrote the memoir with Michaela Angela Davis. Carey said that the book allows her to tell things from her perspective and is unfiltered. “The Meaning of Mariah Carey” will be published by Andy Cohen Books, an imprint at Henry Holt & Company. GLAAD MEDIA AWARDS TO HOLD VIRTUAL CEREMONY FEATURING LIL NAS X, CHLOE X HALLE & MORE: The 2020 GLAAD Media Awards will take place during a virtual ceremony this month. GLAAD announced that it will hold the online event July 30th. The virtual ceremony will stream on GLAAD’s YouTube and Facebook at 8 p.m. EST and air on Logo August 3rd. Actress Fortune Feimster and comedian Gina Yashere will host the awards show. The ceremony will feature a performance from Chloe x Halle and appearances by Dolly Parton, Lil Nas X, Dan Levy, Dwyane Wade and Gabrielle Union, Cara Delevingne, Lena Waithe, the cast and producers of Pose and other stars. GLAAD announced over 175 nominees in 30 categories in January. The nominees include Lil Nas X, the Elton John biopic Rocketman and the AMC series Killing Eve, with Taylor Swift, Janet Mock and Ryan Murphy to receive special awards.
