The Replacements' classic 1987 Pleased To Meet Me album will be reissued as a three-CD box set on October 9th. The collection will feature 29 previously unreleased tracks including demos, rough mixes, outtakes, and Bob Stinson‘s final recordings with the band.
'Mats bassist Tommy Stinson told us the band has a steadily stream an influx of younger fans with each new passing year: “Kids are getting now, just getting turned on to the Replacements because they're going backwards to find out where all the stuff is that they like now has come from, or whatever. Y'know, just trying to find out their own history of rock, y'know, whatever that may be. And I do meet a lot of younger people that are, y'know, getting turned onto it that I wouldn't have expected.”
