BTS TO RELEASE SONG ‘DYNAMITE’: BTS announced they will release a new song called “Dynamite” on August 21st. The band previously teased that an English-language song would be released this month, but didn’t reveal the name on social media until Sunday. BTS will also star in the new reality show, In the Soop, on the Weverse app, starting August 20th.
AVA MAX RELEASES ‘WHO’S LAUGHING NOW’ MUSIC VIDEO: Ava Max has released a new single titled “Who’s Laughing Now.” In the video, Ava has to deal with a boss who fires her and a boyfriend who cheats on her before teaching them the lesson of “what goes around comes around.” “Who’s Laughing Now” is the latest single off of Ava’s upcoming “Side B: Hell” of her debut studio album Heaven & Hell, to be released September 18th.
JORDIN SPARKS ANNOUNCES NEW EP, DROPS SONG ‘RED SANGRIA’: Jordin Sparks, who won Season 6 of American Idol, has dropped her new song “Red Sangria” and revealed that her EP Sounds Like Me will be released August 14th. You’ll automatically get a download of “Red Sangria” and “Unknown” when you pre-order. Sparks’ most recent album is 2015’s Right Here Right Now and she has since appeared on Broadway in the musical Waitress.
‘AMERICAN IDOL’ ANNOUNCES FIRST-EVER LIVE VIRTUAL AUDITION TOUR: ABC’s American Idol has announced Idol Across America, a live virtual audition tour that will visit all 50 states for the first time ever beginning on August 10th. The show, which will return for a fourth season in Spring of 2021, will use custom-built Zoom technology to host its first-ever live virtual nationwide search. Remote auditions will take place across all 50 states, as well as Washington, D.C.
