Linkin Park is currently celebrating the 20th anniversary of their Hybrid Theory album — and a part of that celebration is a website redesign. When you visit LinkinPark.com, you will notice a retro desktop look with several old school styled icons. When you click on the “mail client” icon, you will find a couple of emails from the band members. Mike Shinoda wrote, “Hey guys, I'm starting to go through old gear to see what I can dig up for the secret project we spoke about. Hoping I can find some good stuff in there. Still working on getting the old band computer figured out also. I'm copying the email on the computer so whoever is in there helping can stay up to date. More soon.” Drummer Rob Bourdon added, “Great. My mom has boxes of stuff as well. I'm going to start sorting through that.” In a A third “email,” bassist Dave “Phoenix” Farrell is in a hot tub with a rubber ducky with the message “Squeak Squeak.”
In the trash bin, you will find some artwork dating back to their Hybrid Theory days and the Sasquatch Browser will take you through some early images of the band. You will also find a music player, web meetings, a social share and opportunitiesr to join their newsletter, shop in their webstore or investigate their Linkin Park Underground fan club.
