Chris Cornell has returned to the top spot on Billboard‘s Mainstream Rock Songs airplay chart more than three years after his death with his version of Guns N’ Roses' “Patience.” This is Cornell’s second Number One as a soloist and first as a solo lead, according to Billboard. He previously claimed the Number One spot for two weeks as a featured vocalist on Zac Brown Band‘s “Heavy Is the Head” in May 2015.
Guns N’ Roses recorded “Patience” for their 1988 album G N’ R Lies.
