The Grand Ole Opry will celebrate its 95th anniversary throughout the month of October with various events, livestreams, sweepstakes, and special retail packages. The celebration will also include weekly performances by some of country music's favorites, beginning this Saturday (Oct. 3rd) with Dierks Bentley, Terri Clark, Vince Gill and Lorrie Morgan. Dierks is also celebrating his 15th Opry anniversary. He was inducted into the Opry family on October 1, 2005. The in-venue audience will be capped at 500 guests for the October 3rd 95th anniversary celebration, and tickets are sold out.
The Oct. 10th lineup features Carly Pearce, Jeannie Seely, and Josh Turner; Oct. 17th includes Bill Anderson, Brandy Clark, and Chris Janson; Oct. 24th will be the “Opry Goes Pink” show in the fight against breast cancer with performances by Lauren Alaina, Little Big Town, Victoria Shaw and more; and Oct. 31st features Clint Black and Steve Wariner.
Tickets for the Opry's October shows, except for the sold-out one this weekend, will go on sale Friday (Oct. 2nd) at 10 a.m.
October Opry shows will be one-hour shows broadcast live on Circle and Gray TV stations, DISH Studio Channel 102, Sling TV, and other TV affiliates in addition to a companion live stream on Circle All Access Facebook, YouTube and Twitter. The Opry can also be heard on 650 WSM-AM, wsmonline.com, and SiriusXM.
