Rage Against the Machine's Tom Morello and Foo Fighters' Rami Jaffee joined Girl with a Guitar, a group of young female guitarists from Kabul, Afghanistan to cover Eurythmics' 1983 hit “Sweet Dreams”. The cover sheds light on the hardships children are facing in war-torn countries and hopes to raise money for The Miraculous Love Kids, an organization that raises awareness, resources and funds for vulnerable children in Pakistan and Afghanistan. Morello said in a statement, “These girls are so brave and so inspiring. It is an honor to make music with them.” (Spin)
Atreyu will perform two separate global livestreaming events dubbed Carry The Fire this fall. The first show will take place on November 20th and will feature the band's 'greatest hits.'
