Carly Pearce has released the video for her latest single, “Next Girl,” and she's turned the clip into somewhat of a dating seminar with tips and what-not-to-dos. The video was shot in a dive bar in Nashville.
Carly said, “This video was so fun to make! I feel like most of us have either been on the receiving end of these ridiculous advances or have witnessed them, and while I truly hope the lyrics help the ‘next girl’ know that a jerk’s actions are not her fault, I also wanted to mix some of the often experienced pick-up techniques with a little humor. Come on, do these really work?!”
Carly co-wrote “Next Girl,” which follows up her recent chart-topping duet with Lee Brice, “I Hope You’re Happy Now.
She is nominated in four categories at next month's CMA Awards, including New Artist, and Song, Musical Event and Video of the Year for “I Hope You're Happy Now.”
