Corey Taylor climbs to the top of Billboard's Mainstream Rock Songs airplay chart with “Black Eyes Blue.” This is his first Number One hit as a solo artist. The feat also gives Taylor a place in history as the first artist in Active Rock history to have a chart-topping hit with three separate acts — Stone Sour, Slipknot and as a solo act.
Corey shared the news on social media writing, “Thankful to be the first artist in Active Rock radio history to have a #1 song with three separate bands! #CMFT #StoneSour #Slipknot”
“Black Eyes Blue” is included on Taylor's new solo album, CMFT, which was released earlier this month and debuted at Number One on Billboard‘s Current Hard Rock Albums chart.
