Lil Wayne was dragged immediately yesterday (October 29th) after he revealed on Instagram that he met with Donald Trump. According to Rap-Up, the rap legend met with Trump to discuss criminal reform during a campaign stop in Florida. Wayne shared a photo of himself and Trump, along with the caption, “Just had a great meeting with @realdonaldtrump @potus besides what he’s done so far with criminal reform, the platinum plan is going to give the community real ownership.”
He continued, “He listened to what we had to say today and assured he will and can get it done.”
Of course, people had a lot to say about Wayne meeting with Trump. Pusha T tweeted, “Wayne complaining about Biden tax plan but had no issue when Birdman did it to him for years.”
50 Cent, who got dragged for saying that he would vote for Trump last week, also had something to say, tweeting, “oh no Eyes WAYNEMan facepalming, I WOULD HAVE NEVER TOOK THIS PICTURE.”
This isn't the first time has upset fans about his political views. Back in 2016, the rapper denounced the Black Lives Matter movement and earlier this year, he questioned the activism surrounding the George Floyd protests and sympathized with law enforcement.
