Lady Gaga, who campaigned alongside of Joe Biden congratulated him and Vice President elect, Kamala Harris on their win on Saturday. In part she wrote: “Nothing but love for our new Commander in Chief and the 1st female VP elected to the White House. Also, way to go PA.”
She was referring to Biden pulling ahead in Pennsylvania, giving him the electoral college votes needed to defeat Donald Trump and become the 46th president of the United States.
She also posted a direct message to Trump asking him to “please concede.” She wrote: “I know you can see how America has suffered during this election and fought over the presidency for 4 years. Please do your part in a peaceful transition of power so our transition can be peaceful too.”
Earlier in the week, she appeared at a rally in Pittsburgh and performed her hits “You and I” and “Shallow.”
