Trapt's Facebook account has been deleted by the social media platform. Several people reported the band for “hate speech” after lead singer Chris Taylor Brown posted a graphic showing the silhouette of a Proud Boy holding Lady Liberty with the words, “Don’t Worry Girl, We Got You.” He also added the Proud Boys saying “PYOB (Proud of You, Boy)” to the post.
Brown turned to Twitter to write, “For posting this pic … Facebook has completely deleted the TRAPT FB account. They said don’t use the phrase ‘Proud Boys.’ I specifically told FB trapt fans that I could not say the name. I will be suing Facebook.”
A few hours later, Brown tweeted that his personal Instagram account had also been deleted. He wrote, “Damn, Facebook also deleted my personal Instagram profile which I don’t post anything but pics of me & my girl. Wonder if they will delete my personal FB musician page too. I haven’t even used that one in a while. FB really has it out for me. Thankful for Parler”
