- The George Harrison estate has posted a new remix of the title track to 1970's All Things Must Pass, which will be remixed as part of a new box set edition in 2021. The new stereo mix of the seminal album’s title track was overseen by multi-Grammy Award winner, Paul Hicks, known for his work with the Harrison Estate, the Beatles and this year’s chart-topping albums by the Rolling Stones — Goats Head Soup, and John Lennon — Gimme Some Truth. - The triple-record-set All Things Must Pass was George Harrison's first post-Beatles solo release and was originally issued on November 27th, 1970.
- The album, which featured Harrison's first solo chart-topper “My Sweet Lord” and the Top 10 “What Is Life,” went on to top the U.S. album charts on January 2nd, 1971 for a whopping seven weeks. No release date or tracklisting for the new edition has been announced.
- Paul McCartney has been nominated for a Grammy for his recent Flaming Pie box set. The album — which lost out in 1997 in the Best Album category — has now been nominated in the prestigious Best Boxed Or Special Limited Edition Package category.

On the official PlasticOnoBand.com website, a sparse announcement detailed what fans can expect from the set, with the message stating only, “Audio Box Set: 159 new mixes – announcing Jan 2021.”
- The “POB” album, as it's been dubbed by fans over the years, was originally released on December 11th, 1970, and marked Lennon's first post-Beatles studio set.
- The album, which was groundbreaking for its stark instrumentation and naked revelations about Lennon's early childhood, featured such classic works as “Mother,” “Love,” “Isolation,” “Working Class Hero,” and “God,” among others.
