NEW SAMMY HAGAR & THE CIRCLE ALBUM COMING NEXT MONTH
Coming on January 8th is Sammy Hagar & The Circle's “Lockdown Sessions” album titled, Lockdown 2020. The covers set features all the tunes the band recorded in quarantine and posted online since the pandemic hit. Fans who pre-order the album now will also receive an instant download of the band's new rendition of David Bowie‘s “Heroes.” Additionally, all proceeds from the song “Heroes” will be donated to food banks nationwide.
Hagar, along with Michael Anthony, Jason Bonham, and Vic Johnson, have tackled covers of such iconic artists as the Who, the Rolling Stones, Led Zeppelin, Little Richard, AC/DC, Buffalo Springfield, and Bob Marley & The Wailers, among others.
Sammy Hagar admitted to us that although he fell in love with singing at an early age — he's pretty much the definition of a reluctant performer: “I just liked it. It felt good and it felt natural. It's still not comfortable to me — I'm not a comfortable singer/entertainer; even though I'm more of an entertainer, y'know, when I get on stage, I turn into an entertainer. But it's very uncomfortable for me. And I'm always runnin' around backstage, a nervous wreck until I get out there. But, other than that — I like it.”
The tracklisting to Sammy Hagar & The Circle's 'Lockdown 2020' is:
“Funky Feng Shui” (The Circle)
“Won’t Get Fooled Again” (The Who)
“Good Enough” (Van Halen)
“Three Little Birds” (Bob Marley & The Wailers)

EMOTIONAL NEW EDDIE VAN HALEN FOOTAGE POSTED
Becker was quoted by Ultimate Classic Rock as saying, “It is really hard to watch myself struggling here. This was right before getting my trache and stomach tube and I couldn’t breathe, talk or eat. I was very weak. Today, I am much better. I wanted to show the incredible love I have received from Eddie Van Halen. Not only was he a master of the guitar, his heart and soul are here for all to see. What an example of kindness, humility, and love; something the world needs now and always. I will never forget my friend.”
