Technology offers artists the ability to record songs together without ever having to step foot in the same room, and that has been helpful during COVID, however Tim McGraw and FGL's Tyler Hubbard thought it was important that they be together in the studio when they recorded their duet, “Undivided.” Tim tells us: “Yeah there’s nothing like the energy, and you can see that in the video, the energy that we had and the fun we were having doing it. And especially this song in particular, I think this song lent itself to us being together in the studio, if nothing else, but for the title of the song. But the energy of the song I think really needed that. And I think that it really paid off in spades. I mean, I’m sure it would’ve worked any other way that we had done it because this song is so great. But to be there together in the studio and really vibe off of each other made a huge difference I think in how it turned out.”
“Undivided” will be included on the Deluxe version of Tim’s latest album, Here On Earth, which will be released sometime this spring.
The song sits in the Top 25 and climbing on the country charts.
