The Offspring have finally finished their long-awaited next studio album and plan to release it later this year. Band members Bryan “Dexter” Holland and guitarist Kevin “Noodles” Wasserman shared the news via a video they posted on social media yesterday (Monday, Feb. 8th).
Holland and Wasserman are heard discussing the album saying, ”We’re putting out a record. It’s finished, it’s done, it’s in the can as they say. We’ve got songs, we’ve got titles, we’ve got a label, we’ve got an album title, we’ve got a cover, we’ve got artwork and stuff. It’s ready to go. We’re putting this out.”
An exact release date is still up in the air as the guys say, “We’re going to talk about all that stuff when the label lets us.”
This new album will be the band's first since their 2012 release Days Go By.
