Dave Grohl and his mother Virginia Hanlon Grohl will host the new docu-series From Cradle to Stage when Paramount+ launches next month.
Deadline reports that the series is based on Virginia’s 2017 book, From Cradle to Stage: Stories from the Mothers Who Rocked and Raised Rock Stars. Each episode of the six-part series, directed by Dave Grohl, will tell the stories of the relationships between successful musicians and their moms.
The series was announced at the Paramount+ launch event on Wednesday (February 24th). The streamer will also air new episodes of former MTV and VH1 programs such as Unplugged, Yo! MTV Raps and Behind the Music.
The service will launch on March 4 as a rebrand of ViacomCBS’s existing streaming platform, CBS All Access.
