Dolly Parton will be on Netflix for a special pre-recorded concert that will honor her. The 11-time Grammy winner will be serenaded in the star-studded show called Dolly Parton: A MusiCares Tribute. Some of music’s biggest stars are scheduled including Miley Cyrus, Katy Perry, Willie Nelson, and Shawn Mendes.
Dolly commented, “I am so proud and impressed with all of the great artists. It was such a joy and a humbling experience to be able to sit and watch all of the great artists singing songs that I had written or had been a part of.”
The concert was taped back in 2019, and raised more than $6.7 million for MusiCares, which provides assistance to musicians and their families. Hosted by Little Big Town, it also features Chris Stapleton. The show will premier April 7 on Netflix.
