Last Thursday (April 15th), Blake Shelton made his first-ever visit to Ole Red Orlando for a full-band performance for a limited number of frontline workers and special guests. On the heels of that special appearance, Blake dropped by Ole Red Nashville on Saturday (April 17th) night, surprising fans with a full band performance.
The two stops in as many days marked Blake's first full-band performances in more than a year since the start of the COVID-19 pandemic. His 90-minute set was an unofficial rehearsal for his performance on Sunday’s (April 18th) ACM awards.
Today (Friday, April 23rd), Blake is releasing a new song called “Bible Verses.” He said, “No matter where you are in your faith, there are times you feel like you just don't measure up. 'Bible Verses' is an honest take on that conflict but, without preaching too much, it's hopeful that everything will all work out in the end.”
“Bible Verses” will be included on Blake's new album, Body Language, due out on May 21st.
