Garth Brooks sold over 50,000 tickets in less than 30 minutes for his upcoming concert at Rice-Eccles Stadium in Salt Lake City, Utah. The show will be held on Saturday, July 17th. This will be the first concert at Rice-Eccles Stadium in 10 years.
American Idol winner Laine Hardy has officially been named an Ambassador of his home state of Louisiana. At a VIP reception of legislators and other dignitaries near the state’s capitol on Wednesday (May 5th), Laine received the honor and was part of an announcement of him being featured in the latest “Louisiana Is A Trip” tourism campaign.
The Big Machine Music City Grand Prix has partnered with the Grand Ole Opry to present an Opry performance in downtown Nashville on Sunday (August 8th). The special Opry set against a Nashville skyline backdrop will feature several performers, including Opry member and longtime racing enthusiast Alan Jackson.
