Elle King is an official country artist. She has entered into a new partnership with RCA Records and Sony Music Nashville. Her new duet with Miranda Lambert, called “Drunk (And I Don't Wanna Go Home),” will kick things off. The song heads to country radio next month.
Elle said, “I’ve met some of the most badass songwriters and artists and had some of the most rock & roll experiences of my life in country. So I think we’re gonna get along just fine. Plus, I’m always trying to prove to my PaPaw in Ohio that I haven’t forgotten my roots or where I came from, so this helps a lot.”
“Drunk” debuted at No. 1 in early March on both Billboard’s Rock Digital Sales Chart and the Country Digital Song Sales Chart. Elle and Miranda performed the song live on the ACM Awards, held in Nashville earlier this month.
Elle will join Chris Stapleton‘s All-American Road Show Tour this summer.
