Dan + Shay are in the Top 10 and climbing towards the top of the charts with their latest hit, “Glad You Exist.” The duo has a string of chart-topping hits to their credit, largely writing and producing their own music.
Dan Smyers tells us the magic formula for his and Shay Mooney's success is an unwritten harmonious balance that just fell into place. “Balance is definitely part of what makes Dan + Shay work. When we found each other our songwriting balance and our performing and our harmonies kind of just met in the middle and created a sound that was unique, that people hadn’t heard before. Still till this day everytime we write we know our roles and we know where to balance each other out so that’s one of the Ying and Yang, ebb and flow things that makes this whole project work and makes it what it is today.”
Dan + Shay will launch their headlining The (Arena) Tour in September. The guys have been prepping for the trek and sharing acoustic songs with fans on social media to get their feedback.
